I hope Santa is good to you, Mrs. D. Afterall, with all the fabulous information you give selflessly to everyone here at NT, you have to be at the top of the "Nice List.":santa:

Cheers

Well, I got a nice new root canal and crown for my Xmas.

Hubby got a new laptop (since his hard-drive failed last week).

We were not going to get each other anything in the beginning because we were shifting the money to my son who just moved into his first home. Coming from a townhouse, where maintenance was done by the landlord, he needs a lawn mower, and tools, etc. So we are postponing his lawn mower until spring, when money will be better (taxes come due in Dec here).
I got him some small things and chocolate and we will be giving a small check for him to use as he wants.

Fortunately, our retirement money has rebounded back so we can now dip into that if we need to. I am tempted to cash some out and keep in my mattress...given the scare we just had!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Make sure you put the money in a fire resistant box before you put it in the mattress. Reminds me of this year when a CD came due and the bank manager told me the new rates, which were very very low so i cashed it in. She asked me what are you going to do with it. I told her bury it in the back yard, its safer. You should have seen her face...ha!

The word housebroken in English, means, the bunny goes does his elimination in a litter box. I have known people who have a rabbit in the house, and have trained the rabbit to ring a bell to alert the people to open the door for it to go outside.

Also I've known people who have indoor rabbits and have had them chew things up... especially electrical cords.

He is cute. All rabbits are adorable IMO.

Merry Christmas to everyone. I would like to especially send my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Glenn and MrsD for being there for so many of us, doing what in many cases it seems the medical profession can't or won't do for us. Taking the time to actually care. It is people like you, and so many other regular contributors on this forum, that give people hope to carry on. Today is a beautifully sunny, warm (about 25 degrees C) Christmas day here in Auckland, not a cloud in the sky in fact, and I'm doing my best to enjoy it. It's tough and I have to put on a brave face, which has been hard lately I'll admit. Thank you for being here. From all the way down under. Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2010 (NZ gets there before anyone else, I'll let you know how it looks !) :Head-Spin:

He is confined to the kittchen and to a Varanda. He can run in the house but only with my supervision ;) He loves to chew things up, but he is very intelligent and he knows when he is doing somethin wrong. In most ways he seems like a cat. He do his necessities in a little box. You have a cat don't you? What is her/his name?

Mrs D? You've taught me more in a few short years than most DOCTORS learn in a lifetime!
I have the highest esteem for you, as you might've guessed.
Glenn? You too, are an everlasting hero in my book! You slog thru day-to-day with grace and intelligence.
BobB? You as well, being sort of a 'neighbor?' are always a source of support when we are at our lowest or at or worst.
You are MY HEROES for this board for the YEAR! Second are the Moderators who always keep our spirits in check.
But you three are special to my heart, constant, rational and INTELLIGENT!
I truly hope that this holiday [weather aside?] was just what you wanted!
:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug: - could not put enough of these out there for you all! - j

I'm really too stubborn and ornery to do anything else. :o
