I was going to suggest that you post at the Spinal Disorders forum, yet I see you had already done so prior to your post here.
It may help if you read the follow-up message(s) to your earlier post:

If you figure out where to get one, could you let me know? I don't need the whole thing, just the left side would do.....:p

Where shall we submit the sign-up list for the group rate or discount ;).
One of these days, though, someone, somewhere will come along with even more advanced research and surgical implementation that will benefit so many. It is on the horizon. Who woulda thought that ceramic could be used and enable a champion ice-skater, e.g., Rudy Galindo, to continue skating? Not me. But it has happened. More will happen, too - and, I suspect, within our lifetimes!
I heard God is pretty good at these kinds of things. Have you tried talking to Him about it??

I have, only God must have been busy with triage.
My mother said I never prayed enough, though. Thank you for the reminder.
I always thought that conversing with God was not to be self-serving. Next time I have a talk with God, I will focus on myself.

How about an entire SNS and CNS? would settle for functioning arms, neck and head. Ok Ok. Surely one (functioning) arm is not too much to ask for?
I can pay in peanuts or pain...
Or -I'll switch someone! I can lend some lovely red curly hair, 2 ears, a nose, 2 green eyes (slightly damaged, double vision, easily corrected through correct CNS), 2 eyebrows (great condition, waxed). Also, can include for free one screwed up body - with the amazing ability to be spastic AND floppy at the same time - amaze your friends! befuddle your enemies! Will also include (as a special May give away) one complete set of equipment. For simply agreeing to exchange bodies you get 3 ceiling track hoists, one mobile hoist, all appropriate slings (including head support), one electric wheelchair (tilt, recline, Otto headrest), 2 manual wheelchairs (one support (purple), one sport (pink), both with easily removable headrests. One 24 hour carer. One very cool bed (electric hospital bed that tilts, turns and dances).
All this and more to the highest bidder!!!!

Frogga, what a clever post :D.
It reminded me of a woman who auctioned her MND (Motor Neuron Disease) on E-bay to raise money (given to a MND organization):
