Good Morning to you all. It is freezing cold here but what a wonderful feeling to be alive and kicking another day. I have to go to the farm in a few minutes but thought I'd start a new thread this morning before leave.

So hows everybodies diet going? I hope you are drinking water or something made with water to get the day perking for you. I am going to try to lose some this week. Its not easy to take it off as it is to put it on. Have a great day!

Morning Billie. Rather than think of dieting, I am aiming for eating better and eating less. As for the water intake, I have always been a water drinker. Minus my coffee in the morning, everything I drink is water based the rest of the day.
My rosacea is okay. It seems to have leveled off somewhat, I think. But Saturday was the worst. My face swelled up and was all red. No idea what happened on that one.
Trying to get out and exercise but as some of you know, pain flares and cold make this difficult at times. Right now going to the grocery store and Walmart and wandering around a little is my exercise. Now as long as certain people who will remain nameless:D will stop knocking over the display racks I will get a proper walk in!
So I am working on it slowly so that it is not so overwhelming.

Good morning Billie & Wendy,
Made it through the day yesterday! Didn't get in enough water though. Today. Gonna make cafiene free tea. Can drink lots of water in weak tea and enjoy. Think I will try walking in the house with Zoe. She will follow me back and forth and get her doggiesize too.

Wendy, am so glad today is better for you and your rosacea is better. My hubby has that too.
Have a really good day and enjoy walking in the stores.

Well Shopping Sunday was a good success. Bought a bunch of new workout clothes at my favorite store Lucy. Spend too much money but I will now look the part at the gym. :Excited:

And today I did what you all advised. I kicked off my diet with those shakes again. They work sooooo much better with cold milk. I bought a little hand mixer and it worked great this morning. Mixed in some frozen fruit like eveyrone suggested and away I go. Plain chicken and veggies for lunch and a shake for dinner. I am hoping to stick to it this time:p I am not even hungry right now :Starvin:

This morning I went for O2 treatment and feel better and swelling is down. Now just need to keep motivated.

Billie you are an inspiration. I am hoping to follow your lead and get up early and exercise and get my sugar down too. Saw all that snow on the news this morning. Keep warm!!

Wendy I am gald that you are feeling a bit better and that your roscea is
down. Take it slowly on the exercise. I hope you have a really good day.

Froglady...maybe I could borrow zoe for the treadmill:eek: Hot tea sounds great!

Here's to a lot of water and a pain free day for all!:D

I went to curves this morning....only went three times while we were on vacation but that place had two different machines....a stair stepper that I loved. Have been drinking Dan Active in the hopes of staying healthy this winter and so far, so good. Still working on increasing my water intake. ~sigh

great picture billie!
I like to make sun tea with a new tea called tension tamer...I really like it.
Tastes of chamomile, peppermint and licorrace.
I put a couple of the bags in the 64 oz container and let it "brew" thru out the day.
I am supposed to drink the whole container a day...
not today though

alffe, I am glad that you like the stair steppers...they are very hard to do...

wow you are all doing good with your plans- that is great.
I'm still eating the same but have been getting outside. Doing stuff.

We've had 3 days of beautiful sunshine so far- but still below freezing at nite.
pruned our apple trees, changed oil in the car, lubed it {doors and locks}, washed mine & hubby's cars.
does sitting on the patio in the sun count for exercise?
oh i kept getting up and down to play with dogs and trying to fix the wind chime.

Shelly, Zoe would love to walk with you, she is so sweet and loves every person she meets. I've never had such a cuddly little dog. Hardly leaves my side except to sit with my hubby when he takes a nap after work.
I've got to try a shake in the mornings...sounds good!

Alfie, I still can't drink all the water that is needed daily either.

Thanks, Billie. I did want so badly to put Niles the camels big ole lips & face on. :D

Bizi, tried lots of tea today, made to many trips to the girls room. No tea tomorrow, just water.

Goodness, Jo you sure out worked me today. I cleaned house & washed the shower. You really worked!
Sitting in the SUN isssss GOOD EXERCISE. :I-Agree:

Where's Curious? :lookaround:
