I could use some prayers please

I did something so very stupid last night. I was alone and I dranked a 5th of vodka. I'm on effexor 3 times a day so I took one then started drinking and didn't stop until it was gone. When my kids or husband couldn't get ahold of me on my cell phone or home phone, they rushed home to find me on the bathroom floor. I couldn't even answer them or hold my head up. My husband had to get my to the bed and change me into my pjs. Didn't get to bed until 12:30 and had to be up by 4:15 a.m. I still feel drunk and very very sick right now.

yes, I will be praying for you.

alcohol is such a depressant itself that combined with anti-depressants, it is a very very bad mix

I hope you feel better soon (try a cup of hot water with freshly squeezed lemon juice to detox you liver...it should help a bit)

You know I am part Administrator to a depression site and I don't feel nearly as loved and cared about as you all make me feel here. You always come running when I need you no matter what I post. thank you all so much for your hugs and prayers. I found out it was a lethal mix what I did and could have died. I still don't know what made me do it?? We are thinking that my dose might be too high and is messing with me. I have decided to call the doctor today and fess up what I did and see if maybe I should come off that med. Thanks again (((hugs)))

anti-depressants can really have some very odd side effects!
