ok guys and gals

Since my husband has been waiting 6 months already and disability sent him for a mental exam yesterday how long for a dicision-will he have to wait another 6 months??

I hope NOT!!

The mental exam went good they asked him if he gets angry easy-which he does they asked what he does all day. If he socializes- Not!!! He is too depressed and no money to go out any where. But my husband said he feels a little more confindante now. His doctor told him he will get this to social security asap-I was just wondering if we are coming to a dicision soon?

Are you at the appeal stage? It took me a total of 3 years to in. Denied at both levels. Even after 2 different mental exams by their doctor. Then after I was turned down the second time it took another 1+ year for my case to go to the judge. So it depends on a variety of things.

After I had the mental exam I had a decision within a month.
