When you have lived chained by fears
Every day for many years
So long you've used up all your tears
Then you will know what I do

When it becomes normal to feel alone
Filled with pain like none you've known
Carrying a burden that's overgrown
Then you will know what I do

When even family lets you down
When love and happiness can't be found
And sadness follows you around
Then you will know what I do

So unless you've lived the life I've got
And fought the battles that I've fought
Remember you should judge me not
Until you know what I do
