Assistive Technology of Ohio: Computers for Ohioans with Disabilities
http://www.atohio.org/computers.html

Assistive Technology of Ohio has a statewide program that helps people with disabilities obtain their own computer. Knowledge of how to use a computer, the Internet and e-mail are becoming fundamental basic skills necessary to compete in today's working and educational world....

While the computers we distribute are not usually fresh off-the-shelf, state-of-the-art brand-spanking new, they do come with Internet capability, roomy hard drives, and run with speedy processors. Because of increased shipping costs, AT Ohio has had to raise the cost of the program to $50 per computer....

Texas Center for the Physically Impaired (TCPI)
http://handicapability.org/computers.html

TCPI provides computers, free of charge (with a $100 donation) to visually impaired persons. We ship an average of 350 refurbished PCs per year, bringing the total to over 2,000 in five years. (Note: This service is available to residents of the United States and Canada.)

GiveTech

"....GiveTech does not give away computers; rather we give away input devices that allow people with quadriplegia to use computers."

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes...

I have recently started a blog that I hope will help folks out there find funding sources for assistive technology. Please check it out and leave comments for your state if you know of additional funding sources out there.

Thanks
