Need prayers, warm thoughts

and any other way one talks to their Higher Power. I would very much appreciate it.

My other brother, about 5 or 6 years older than me had a stroke several days ago. He has already had at least 1 stroke and heart attack, He hasn't been well for a long time but this stroke is worse and I fear he may not come back home this time.

He is doing so much like Ben, my oldest brother that died this time last year. I know we will all go when God intends us to, but of course we don't want them to go.

The last few days he has been in and out of being lucid, or just "totally out of it". I would very much appreciate it if you all would remember him.

It is hard, there has been 4 or 5 very close relatives that has died since about this time since last year. It is heart breaking to say the least. Please remember him as well as the family. We aree his wif's family, she has no body left. Than you for you kindness.

I can't tell you all how much this means to me. You are my safty net, keeping my self from despire. I love you all and I do fel the prayers. thank you ever so much.

Not a lot of change, did get the bleed stopped, but had to take him off the cumidun ((sp)) to do this. now the heart thing could get at out whack anytime. I know I'm not the only one with their pain and sorrows, but I do love you for remembering Jerry and all of us.

Kathy, it doesn't feel even possible this time last year we were losing Ben. now Jerry is going the same route. No, it is unbearable for me at times. I guess Im selfish, but no so soon, please not so soon;

I too am sending up prayers for you, your bro, his wife and all who love him.
How utterly sad this must be to suffer such losses and see our loved ones suffer.
Just keep in mind....this is just for a short time here on earth....getting us prepared for a better day...for eternal life where we will never suffer pain, never have a tear run down our cheeks ever again.
We will live in joy beyond what we can comprehend....this will be forever, and ever, and ever!
Until then....we must endure, but its only for a little while.

if this is good news, but they did move him to the Stroke rehab hospital , it is actually a part of the whole hospital system. They have heart patients in a large group, stroke sand seperate cancer bilding.

My daughter Beth is a pysical therapist and she is on the rehab inpatient floor. She had many misgivings about being on his team. She wasn't and that was a relief. Its hard enough just knowing he is there. she has a tender heart and she was about worried sick, if something happened such as throwing a clot, she would have gone to pieces. Of course she is still close by. They did take him off the blood thinner, that could affect his heart. Pleas say a prayer that we all will use our faith more instead od borrowing troubles. I love you all and do appreciate your prayers already.

I am glad Beth is closeby, but I sure can see why it would have been way too emotionally stressful for her to have been on Jerry's team. It is also good that he is in a unit specialised to care for him

It's good he's at a hospital where your daughter works, even if she's not on his team. In general, employees take their jobs more seriously when they know the patient is a relative of a co-worker/friend.

love. the hugs are nice too:) I love all of you very much. Things are stable at present. I'm thankful for that.

I came from a large family, 3 boys and 4 girls. It seems we have had so much sadness in such a short time. Ben dying, Jerry on shakey ground, Sugg having breat cancer. Then I think about all others that have so much worse things happen, I feel ashamed I'm not out helping others.

You, my family here, so many needs. I do love you for all the prayers and the hugs. they keep me going. I pray to be a help to others.

They sent brother home, he was not getting much help, most his wife can help with at home. They have 2 adult sons, they will be helping with the lifting snd such. Not able to get around,can't talk, just a little but hard to understand. It's heart breaking. He already had damage from prior stroke and also the heart damage. I don't see how he has lived this long, but God works on his time table. I wish I could say he was improving and doing great, but the prognosis is not good. They had taken him off the blood thinner to stop the bleeding. I fear this is not going to help other problems.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the prayers. I love you guys here in SSS. Your prayers are felt and helped me get thru the days. thank you again for the love and kidness you have sent my way. I love you all dearly ((((group hug)))) Julia

i am glad he is home Jo, but sorry the prognosis isnt better. this must be so hard on his wife:( i just pray that however long he has, it will be painfree and peaceful and that he will know how loved he is by all of you. i do believe in miracles and so i will continue tp hope and pray that things will really improve for him
