Walls of Discontent -

This fortress of walls that I have built
To suppress my rage, impatience and guilt
I need them there to keep me sane
To keep silent the knowledge of the pain


I have subconsciously put up these bars
To halt the tears and hide the scars
And forget the years the locust ate
To forgive myself and those I hate

I’ve put them there to save my heart
In case it heals from being broken apart
These are my walls of discontent
To hide my hell to a greater extent

Another Heartbeat
When in loves softest moment
Child is conceived another heart
Besides my own beats
And at his joyous birth
I suddenly realize a bit of me
will walk around the earth…

Two boats adrift yet stationary sat
The sea a mirror did contemplate
What voyages they had

Inspired by a smaller voice
Did hear the twin ship say
Our time to sail was yesteryear

Yet seems like yesterday

Matthew Mommy loves you
More than words can say
I know that you're in Heaven now
But it seems so far away

I wish that I could hold you son
Just one more time
I know you are the lucky one
You are with the Great Divine

Matthew Mommy misses you
Your smile and your touch
The way you held me close to you
The gentle way that you loved

Jesus is holding you
In the shelter of His wings
I know that you are free my love
And that is why I sing.....
You are free Matthew, Jesus holds you today
