Hi
I went through a double spinal fusion back surgery in December 2006. My insurance company paid 5200.00 for a bone stimulator that I was to use for 9 months post op. It came with 4 new sets of batteries and a case for it all. It is about the size of a lap top computer carry case. The stimulator is a round disk steering wheel looking thing that you velcro strap onto your back and tummy and hit the pre-set timer on it. It runs for 30 mins a day. Your own Dr could reset it to any different timing you may need on it. I never even went through the first set of batteries on it, used it about 15 times and am doing so well that I don't need it anymore. Rather than have someone or your insurance company charged for a new one I would like to sell this one. I had a 400 deductible on it and as it is slightly used I would be more than happy to sell it for $300.00 to anyone who needs one.
It works by sending radio frequncey waves to your bones and they react by healing quicker and stronger. It is used for all types of bone stimulation, not just for backs. If anyone interested please let me know!!!
Thanks!
