Boy, I'll tell ya J, you sound just like me. Your situation does anyway. :( I got me some weapons for protection. I'm not used to citylife either. Everyplace I ever lived was more rural/residential and on the coast. I have been here now 15 years and am sort of getting used to all the commotion that goes on around here. I am sort of still on a coastline, Lake Michigan, but it's really NOT like the oceans. I dream about moving back but there is no one there, everyone has scattered or has passed away. :o

Life goes by so fast I can't believe how old I am. Not that I'm THAT old yet but still, I feel like a teenager inside. To move some 1000+ would be such a major untaking, I really don't think I could do it. It's hard to realize that that part of your life is over and done with. Makes me sad.

So I stay where I was planted and try to make the best of it. For me to leave here it would take a Miracle.

Hey, ((((((Justice)))))),

Craigslist is real handy for finding "everything" -- http://sandiego.craigslist.org/

Take a look at this one -- it's just calling to you :D http://sandiego.craigslist.org/apa/329521324.html

Oh, you can put 'dogs allowed' when you're doing your searching, that's how I found that place.

Happy Sunday http://chocolate-moose.p5.org.uk/MINIS/bones-001.gif BIG HUGS.

Hi Justice....how does Los Colinas sound?!?! NOT!
Yes...I used to live in SD....drove a 7up car! I was a deputy Sheriff! Back in the 70's tho...does that date me?
And I did undercover detective work...drug enforcement...OK...guys, I was with Bill...Honest....we did NOT inhale!
That work last only 4 years...I mean who wants to be working with people who're having a rotten life ALL the time!
I'm so glad I quit because my life has been a H3LL of its own these days!
OK...I CAN put you in touch with several people I know who are good people.
Mostly El Cajon and La Mesa area....the people I know in La Jolla....a little too high nosed for anyone!:(
But my freinds in El Cajon are down to earth people...in fact 2 of the called last night...said it had been 90* last few days then cooled down to mid 80's. They all love to taunt and tease me with how nice the weather is, while I'm freezin my wrinkles off in dripping soggy wet Oregon.
We go down to SD about 2 times a year...stilll have family there...they live on MT Helix...hmmmm! They're freinds with the La Jolla crowd.
Ya gotta be careful with who you meet....too many people are not who/what they claim to be...but I know you're one smart cookie!
I hope you get back "home"!....I'll post some pics for ya! One for you to  at! Yes...its all taken from SD...home!
We lived in Ramona....San Diego Country Estates! I sure miss living there, but that was way out of town in the country...its still country except the huge gambling center on Barona Indian Res!
Blessings, cheryl

Watch who you call high nosed-LOL- I used to live in La Jolla, and I am sure not high nosed. Loved going to the cove and playing in the water. It was just a few blocks from where I rented. When I got married we moved to Point Loma just three houses from the ocean, but you had to work your way down a cliff to get to the beach. I now live in SC, but Calif. will always be home. Thanks for the memories!!!:) Carose
