View Full Version : True Love
I have to tell you that when your husband and son give you sharp objects for Mother's Day, that's true love!
I got some real good chopping knives and a blade for my electric edger.
Hope I don't confuse the use of each one. Can you see me chopping up veggies with my electric edger and trimming the lawn with my knives!

:holysheep: that is trust.
If I have a knife in my hand everyone moves away....quickly. I was cutting steak one night and the knife ended up in my DH lap:yikes:

When others love you no matter what you do in life,or say, they still love you. That,my Dad taught me that it's called unconditional love! Cause I did everything my Mom asked of me,and no matter what I did she would never love me,even though I did everything better than anyone else in the family, only honor student, trophys, ribbons, sterling scholar, nothing was good enough. But my Dad loved me from the day I was concieved!:)

*still cringing at the thought of being in her presence with sharp objects*
Gee, Cec' that sounds like a terrific Mothers' Day gift! Now you can slice and dice the lawn and dinner all at the same time. There is great joy in cooking with good tools if you ask me.
like you ever cook

True love AND trust. It's nice to know they feel safe enough to take such risks. ;)
Speaking of Mother's Day, we took mom to the horsetrack. It's an annual vice but Dad had so much fun, he wants to do a repeat on Father's Day.
Mom said "in lieu of presents, I'll take cash ...if there's anything left over from the races I'll buy flowers for the patio"
:)
