I have a busy week...filling in for our church sec. on Tues and Wed..and seeing a different dentist (mine had no openings) for new bonding today...

We have an out of town wedding this weekend....I hope the weather cooperates cause they like to do it outside. *grin

One of my favorite activities this time of year is to go down to Amish country and just "take it all in". I missed a great photo opt. while at the Cheese Factory. The farmer right next door was plowing his fields. And I didn't have my camera!

I love the laid back way of life...their laundry flapping in the breeze. And the horse and buggys on the road. It restores my soul :grouphug:

What's on my plate? Hopefully food. :D Between the lithium and my teeth I've lost 9 lbs. :D

I love the Amish too Alffe. They're in Lancaster County and they have great shops there.

Good luck at the dentist Alffe. I'll be there too this afternoon getting more packing on my socket.

I need to call my primary this AM to see if I can get in there to see her.

And then work, work work.

Well, it's been interesting around here. I worked as the church sec. yesterday morning and again this afternoon.

this morning I called the Health Dept, county engineers, Mayors office trying to get someone to come out and look at the green dust that's all over our bricks, siding, lawnfurniture. Maybe I mentioned this...CRS!

Anyway, our Pastor came in complaining about the green haze that had covered her car...said it's pollen and gave her a terrible head ache. I said that can't be....Mr.Alffe watched this green cloud roll in yesterday and again some this morning.

Well, I think it is pollen and coming from our white pine trees. :o We've lived here 32 yrs this laborday and have never had anything like it before. Lordy how I hate to be wrong...LOL..happens alot. I wonder if the powers that be are bent over in laughter. ~sigh

Don't cry curious....we're having popcorn and a movie for dinner. *grin

 i have a commercial popcorn machine. it's running full speed tonight.

short notice...but my house is going to be full of teenage girls watching american idol. the mom that had said she was going to "host" it..backed out.

Thanks Goofy...she was great imho.

We are leaving shortly for an out of town wedding...Mr.Alffe just dropped Cooper off at Camp K9 and guess who is there? That hussy, Holly! The black lab that he's crazy about... the very one who broke his heart. LOL

do I feel guilty about leaving him? Not at all! :D

LOL poor Cooper.....

You guys have a safe trip Alffe.... We're not doing any thing special this weekend. The senior choir i help with at work sang at the church service there at the retirement place this morning. Rebecca and I went to that and Scott and his dad went to our regular church LOL... Sis really doesn't enjoy going to the retirement home, but i think it intrigues her. Shes never been around our senior citizens other than her grandparents... I work for half a day tomorrow. OVERTIME PAY!!!!!!!!
I hope everybody has a good holiday.....

Nothing special going on here! Kids are away to Kansas City this weekend to enjoy friends. The friends they are visiting are the couple I think I talked about who just found out their baby has Angelman's Syndrome and will never be able to care for himself. Very sad. He's only 6 months younger than my grandson.

I tried to get all the way through making my bedroom clutter free yesterday and only got most of the surface stuff. I'm wondering what the hell is under my bed. Too scared to get under there and find out, LOLOL. And my dresser! Oi vey. Everything from buttons to bills is laying all over it. I look at it and cringe.

I have to mow and trim the lawn today and that will knock the energy out of me for sure.

Next week I'm taking Thursday afternoon and Friday off from work just for the heck of it, so I'll only have a 3 day work week. Yay.

I have a date with a dirty bird bath. :OuttaHere:

I must have the "poopiest" birds in the world. :yikes:

O M G. Whatever you do, don't do what I did, LOL. Mowed, trimmed, weeded. Then (I live in a mobile home) I was tired of looking at my neighbors dirty moldy? (green stuff) skirting, so I set task of scrubbing off all the mildew whatever. Interferes with looking at my pretty garden from my porch swing. (My neighbors moved so darn it...they aren't here to say, wow, thanks.)

Well, that wasn't enough. So went to the north side of my home, and set the task of scrubbing off 80 feet of mildew/mold on my home.

Then, I took myself, dirt and grass all over the place, in my baseball cap, drove to town and got the movies...Um...oh yeah, Painted Veil (I adore Edward Norton) and um...Apocalypto. I didn't disgust the people in the store too much with my appearance. (Like...I cared.)

So now I'm going to take a long shower, put on some jammies, eat and watch a movie.

Probably will require a heaping dose of Biofreeze on my back as well. Anyone to help me get it on my back? LOL Have a good evening all.

:thud: :thud: :thud:

Don't worry Doody I got your back. But I thought I had the patent on Biofreeze. I cleaned the pond, the bird bath and my car. Yep, I'm hurting big time but the skies just opened and it's thundering and lightening like crazy. So I'd better shut down. :OuttaHere:

I'm so exhausted physically and I'm hoping my mind follows. ;)
