Hi Kristin. I am ever so sorry your mom is having a hard time. I know from way back that you want to do something to help your mom. such a loving daughter and granddaughter:)

I can't tell you what to do, you know that best, but if nad it is probably a big iff, you can get your mom to go someplace and stay a few days and you and brother can take over for her?

So very many cargivers give so much, they have a very hard time adjusting back into a normal life. I have been there, both my parents and my beloved brother, Ben, the list goes on. Another brother gravely ill, had a stroke last week. For every story I can tell there are a million more.

Your Mom has probably taken on the parent roll and your grandmother the child. Oh how that hurts when you discover that has happened. It does happen and your mom will need you to be there for her. You are a good daughter, cherish your loved ones while you have them and we can pray that will be a very long time. Bless all 3 of you.(((Kristin, Mom & grandmother)))

I'm sending my mom, too. She isn't even in the same state as I am - but she's feeling 'at fault' for my lack of diagnosis for so long. Once I send the man off well fed, I'll add more details!

She's an occupational therapist, too - maybe she'll be able to help others!

Absolutely, send them. We would love to chat with them and you never know, maybe we can help in some way.
I know I have felt alot of love from this forum and I think they will feel the same way.
Take care,
Linda :)
