Just joined. I am bipolar - diagnosed as of about a month ago. Been on Depakote since. Over the excessive sleepiness now. Moods are evened out more. I stop myself from buying impulsively now. (Usually.) Seeing a psychiatrist in a couple weeks. I think I've had this for years but they finally diagnosed it when upping my Celexa made me VERY manic.

Yes antidepressants for an undiagnosed bipolar person can be hello!
Glad that you have gotten meds to help.
and hopefully you have a good support system to help you cope.
Being able to stop the spending is really a good sign!
