Hi, I am a 70 yr old male diagnosed with PD for 4 1/2 yrs now. Is an EEG the only way to determine if a parkinsonism such as CBD is present.

This is an interesting question Lou. By CBD are you meaning Corticobasal Degeneration?

Are you wondering if this is only diagnosable through EEG rather than say an MRI? In other words a functional/active test rather than fixed imaging! I do not have a clue as to the answer to your question - so I hope someone else out there can help you. I would be most interested to know the answer.

I have a lot of questions, some along a similar line to yours which I may post in another message, so that I do not hijack your post. :)
