I posted pictures of my MRIs that I had taken a year ago. My doctor
sais they still show signs of the head injury I had when I was very little. (over 20 years ago) I'm just curious what they're looking at. Here's a link to my blog
with the images.

What's the little black-void-lookin-area in the front left? Maybe I
should head bang and squish some brains back to the front there. The
doctors didn't seem worried about it, still it puzzles me.

what was the nature of your injury again dave? That pock mark in the front right seems rather odd. But, i just got the results of my hi res mri, and they had to blow them up and point out 4 white dots that they said were tiny legions. But there was no way i could have picked them out on the tiny films they gave me. I guess the best thing to do would be to ask them to point it out.

I had a severe concussion at 9 years old followed by seizures until I was about 12. Hit my head on the back, but injured the front.

Owen, so what do those lesions mean? Did your drs. tell you anything, like do they cause the PCS symtoms?
well PCS is caused my the shearing of neurons in your brain. My doc tells me MRIs, even high res MRIs are only accurate down to 1mm. And that by doing autopsies on people that had mild brain injuries, ( dying of other causes of course), they found that there is often much more wide spread damage than the MRI can pick up on. My legions are just visible tears in my white matter.
