Gastro dr. my stomach has been giving me problems
You take the meds do what you are supposed to do, works for awhile
and bam it starts all over again.

I have GERD. I am getting sick of all the meds I keep getting.
Then after taking them for awhile the body seems to get immune to them.

My TV went today. That is enough to get anyones stomach upset.

I am going to have an upper endoscophy. The first opening they
have is May 21st. By then I'll need a new stomach.

I have had problems for years with my stomach. Everything has been
going good for awhile but since about Nov.07 it started acting up again.
Of course I just kept delaying the visit to dr. until I couldn't stand it anymore.

Going to looking for a TV tomorrow with a friend. I have a small one
in the bedroom. So I guess I will be watching TV in bed tonight.
I hate doing that because I always fall asleep and never see the program
I started with.

Wish me luck that I find one tomorrow that I can afford. The money
is going to be the biggest problem.


Oh the doc did give me some free trial size pills to try. If they work I
have the prescription. " NEXIUM" Has anyone ever taken this med?

Oh darn... wish you could get that scope sooner. DS is on Nexium *the lil purple pill:D) and it works well for him. I used to take it, but am taking Aciphex now. I think it's a pretty good med for the GERD.

TV problem sloved. Bought a new tv today. I graduated from 19in.
screen to a 22 in. screen. I am sure that others have the bigggggggg
tv screens. To me this was a giant step.

DD came over to set it up. All these new electronics are driving
me nuts.

Feel like I am back in school again learning all over again. But it is
great, if the kids didn't talk me into a computer I never would have
found all of you. :grouphug:

The only thing I have sooooooo much morrrrrre to learn on the
computer. O well as long as I know how to start and to end that's all

That was a grea idea. Instead of naming the children exactly
after you, it does give them a good seperation.

Named my daughter after me. So now when you refer to us

having been a single parent, and being one, when they were so little, I miss that stage so much, the realization in their eyes as they figure things out for the first time. the smiles of understanding, the continual TESTING, (its how they learn) holding them and rocking them to sleep, laying them down stepping back and being amazed at how angelic they look asleep,

then turning around and looking at the house going omg how can two demonic little angels do all this :yikes: lol I would give anything to go back in time,

thats one reason we have no problem with helping this young lady and her child out. Deb and I miss ours being so small so much, that its a breath of fresh air, I feel the little one does take some away from me, due to my MS, but thats me, not him, yet the return, the feeling inside, him running to me jumping in my arms calling me grandpa, which were his first words:trampoline:

Understand~~~~~ The mind doesn't age. I still feel like I am in
my youth (haaaaaaa) It is true mentally we do not age, body OOOOO!!!

Plus with the health disability that will make us feel like we are as old
as we possibily can be.
My daughter turned 45 this past weds. It's like that can't be I am to
young to have a child this old. That's what you get when you marry at
19.

Her name is Spooky/Andrea and she was at the old Plaintalk site. I don't know the URL, but I'll bet Cheryl/Avappy/FG does.

Does the ankle feel any better?

The weather is really crazy here. Yesterday it was in the high
80's. Woke up this morning and it was 52 outside. I remember reaching
for my quilt last night.
Today it is in the high 70's

This change of weather I believe is what is causing some of my
problems to bother me more.
