CONCLUSIONS:
Cerebral lymphocytic vasculitis and intracranial aneurysms may be associated with B burgdorferi infection.
It is suggested that inflammatory changes caused by B burgdorferi in vessel walls may be a pathogenetic mechanism for the formation of aneurysms.
