Healthy Messages We Need To Hear





It’s healthy to pursue mental and physical health.
Express your feelings.
Be open. Talk out your problems with someone.
Be yourself. Accept yourself. Respect yourself.
Love yourself. Enjoy yourself. Nurture yourself.
Take time for yourself.
Reward yourself.
Be kind to yourself.
Be assertive.
Take a healthy risk.
Build your self esteem.
Use your creativity.
Be honest.
Have an “I can do” attitude.
Be flexible.
It’s OK to cry, no matter what your age or gender.
It’s OK to show emotions.
It’s OK to laugh when you feel like it.
It’s OK to have feelings different from others.
It’s OK to admit having mixed emotions.
It’s OK to have a down day, we all have them.
It’s OK to have your own opinion.
It’s OK to seek help.
It’s OK to express yourself constructively.
It’s healthy to make your own decisions.
It’s OK to be curious.
It’s OK to make mistakes, we all make them.
We grow and learn.
Everyone has good qualities.
It’s good and often necessary to delegate responsibilities.
Material things do not make us who we are.
It’s unhealthy to smoke or use self abusive habits.
Self defeating behaviors are not good for us.
Recreation and relaxation is good.
It’s OK to do what you believe is right.
It’s OK to say “No” and not feel guilty.
A man’s worth is not measured by how much money he has.
It’s healthy to like yourself.
It’s healthy to take pride in yourself.
It’s OK to pat yourself on the back.
It’s OK to compliment yourself.
Be good to yourself.
I’m not being selfish if I take care of myself.
Each person is entitled to their own space.
Each person is unique, and it’s OK that we are different.
It’s healthy for me to take charge of my own life.
I can be independent and still depend on others sometimes.
It’s OK to select jobs, hobbies, etc. of your own choice, regardless of your age or gender.
It’s OK to help others, as long as I don’t judge my own self worth by how much I do.
I can be first sometimes, and it doesn’t mean I am selfish.
