If you want a free repair manual for your Pride Legen Scooter, you can get it by using Google and searching for "CM4-4S", which is the German corporations name for the scooter. The manual will show up, along with several others for scooters and power chairs. The manual is in English, so there are no translation issues.
Pride will not provide these to customers, but you can download it free!

OK Victor, not to be a total smarta** (though I do it SO well), but the only part of the title to this thread that shows up on the main screen is "Repair Manual for Pride"..
My first thought was "Wow, Victor really found one?"..
Obviously, I have no pride, so repair is not in the cards..But thanks for the scooter manual info..I know someone who COULD use that!

I am not sure if they have the repair manual for the Go Go Elite, but you may want to do a Google search for the "CM4-4S" (use the quotation marks) and then scroll through the manuals that are provided.

I searched and could find nothing. I really woulk like a programmer for the
Go Go as it is slow. I have an old lark that spec;s out at 4 MPH and it runs rings around the Go Go. It wasn't purchased from local provider so they don't want to work on it, If you push the issue they will sechueld you months away at a very high rate. Pride guards their information like its national security.
Well now that I got that out of my system I would like to get the name of the programmer or name of the controller that was used.
If you or anyone else has or can get this information for me. It would be a god send and at the same time keep me from spazz'n out. I hate it when people continue to profit with mandatory repairs and service. Even the car companies sell their manuals and don't force you to come back to them for service or repair.
Their I go again I.am sorry but sometims I lose it and go off on a rant.

Dan,
It sounds to me like one of two things are happening with your scooter:
(1) The throttle potentiometer is fouled
(2) The engine brushes need to be replaced or cleaned.
I have attached images below to show you what these parts look like on the average scooter. You can buy these items from common electronics stores, including (believe it or not) Radio Shack. You can also try to clean the throttle potentiometer using the old Marine Corps method (which worked well on our old Prick 77 field radios): Use an eraser to rub-off any contamintion between the electronic contacts.
While you are taking apart your scooter, check for a "real" manufacturer's name and then Google that name for a repair manual. When I saw someone else's Pride Legend XL dismantled, I found the name of the manufacturer, and it is not Pride, but rather a German Company.
Smaller scooters are being made for Pride in China, and so your GoGo Elite may be a Chinese product.

I really need to find the flash codes for the Pride Legend.
I purchased a used scooter in 2003 that was like new. It may have been a couple of years old then. Here is the info on it:
Model # E675
Date Code: 2100
Type A
Serial # is either 6001338 or C001338
I am getting a flash code of 3 beeps and then 5 beeps.
This is after I have turned it off and then I turn it back on. I remedy the situation by putting my feet down and moving it a little (as far as it will move forward or back). Then I turn it on again. Sometimes I have to do this several times before it stops doing the flash code, but it does finally go. So it must be something to do with engaging the wheels.
I sure would like a list of the flash codes and I would welcome any suggestions.
Thanks for any help.

You may not need a new motor. More often than not, this issue is the degradation of the brushes on the scooter motor (see image below). You can remove the brushes and either clean them or have your scooter store order them for you. In many cases, you can find these brushes at local auto stores.
If you decide to clean them rather than get new brushes, soak them in baking soda & water and then clean them as best you can.
