How do I get a cute avatar ?

I can't remember how to get an avatar. Can anyone talk me through it? Any suggestions? Thanks:circlelove:

You can use one of your own pictures (you'll need to crop it down) or do a search on avatars on google and you can find lots of sites with them (free ones).

i can resize pics and all but the GIF format how do you resize those, is there a program out there, so that they retain their animations
