Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, thank you. I was hoping everyone had seen their picture by now. If only I knew how to bring it up under my name like your froggy. Any hints. I also wanted to put up a picture of Nina for everyone to see. These 3 little ladies are who I am fighting for. Although the fight for my little girls is now over and they are safe, I am still perservering for my Nina. These 3 are all I have left. Thank you for the compliment!

Hi NoHope (Honey)... :)

You have a couple of beautiful ANGELS there....

I'm going to give this a whirl and help you place that pic as an avatar....

first... click UserCP (top left of screen)

On the left you will see...Edit Avatar.... click that.

You will see... Use Custom Avatar...click.
Then... Option 2--Upload from your computer.... CLICK BROWSE.

That should bring up your files... click on the picture of your girls... double click on the picture....that would put the link in the section next to Browse...

Click on SAVE CHANGES... and.. viola... there you go..

Hope that helps...

Thank you so much! Unfortunetly I couldn't get it to work. I am not at all computer savey and couldn't figure out why my images could not be downloaded because of an error with jpg, img and so forth. Hopefully my brother will come back to Portland soon and show me what it is I am doing wrong.

Ah hah! They are bugging the @#$% outa me right now! Can't read your stuff without their constant "mom, mom". OHHHHHHHHHHHHH if I can only get a day, week to my OWN! My 11 year old got punished tonight for the normal "leave your clothes all over the house trick". She lost tv tonight, her favorite thing and is now knitting in my office. My 4 year old is putting a puzzle together behind my chair. Nina is also laying in here ON THE CARPET! I need a break! It's been 3 years they have been on my hip everywhere. With no family in town, trust me it's tough.

Alffe? Are you aglow? Tan? Exhausted? Where's my little Cooper? Home? Don't forget to take out the trash and feed them hungry birdies! You go girl! WELCOME HOME!!!:)

OMG I was laughing so hard damn near fell off the chair! She's bigger than he is! I'm glad you were able to answer my question on what an airedale is. You and Mr Alffe must be so proud!

I know I really shouldn't complain about my little ones. They really are great kids, I just need a break once in a while. Sure wish I had family close. Sara's currently making my b-day gift in my bedroom. My birthday's not till tax day, wonder whaz up with that?!

I just picked up Emma from the daycare co-op I started last month. I got a whole 6 hours to myself today. First time in two weeks! Not much you can accomplish in that short amount of time, but I spoiled myself with Starbucks and Taco Del Mar and was on the computer all day! Still haven't mopped or cleaned the bathrooms in 2 weeks. I make the girls wear socks downstairs so the wood floor continues to be dusted:) I also have a very firm rule in my house. No one goes upstairs empty handed or downstairs empty handed. It really works even if it's only my coffee cup in my hand each trip:)

I finally sold Sara's bedset and with almost 3 grand was able to get her a new bedroom, me a new dinnette and two oversized swivel chairs for their play area. It feels so good to get rid of stuff that came from my marraige and horrible divorce. I want to start anew.

Hope everyone had a great day!

:D they really are a pair...she isn't the prettiest black lab in the world and Cooper usually has his ears up...well one at least. I wish I could post the hand drawn picture Mr.Moi sent us of Cooper...then you'd really see what he looks like.

I'm so glad you are doing the co-op Honey as it gives you a little time and you do need a break. I think you said your brother is coming to visit...is that soon?

I got my Compassionate Friends newsletter yesterday and it had an interesting article about affirmations which I'm going to try to post.

You are goal oriented and that's a good thing! :grouphug:

Unfortunetly I never know when my brother will be up here, it's just whenever his company sends him this way on business. He is flown globally as a computer specialist with the Veterans Administration. Lately, it's been every few months and we last saw him in January.

I hope my old dinning room set will sell before my new one is delivered in the next couple of weeks. I kind of jumped the gun on that one, but got a really good deal I couldn't refuse. I wonder how my old set will look if I have to cram it in the livingroom?

Cooper is a doll. Holly should be good for him, labrador's are great. My chocolate lab, Chip, died 4 years ago March 30 from cancer. Best dog I ever had. Now the fight for Nina. At least she's happy and somewhat still peppy:)

Have a great day all

I can't believe Ms. Alffe didn't tell us about the wedding sooner! The pictures, I think, said it was a Valentine's wedding. LOLOL! What a HANDSOME couple!

Speaking of handsome...I could have sworn I saw Mr. Alffe jogging across campus today in black sweats. :D Mr. Alffe has a twin here in town. Hmmmmm, wonder if this twin is single. :D
