Amidst the falling stars,
Amidst the well of tears,
Amidst the broken dreams,
Christ’s love for you endures.

Against the weight of sin,
Against its darkened depths,
Over the shadowed walls,
His love for you has leapt.

It stands against all odds,
Against conspiring claims,
To claim and preserve,
Love’s pure and simple flame –

Wedded to the Spirit,
Of everlasting grace,
His mercy and kindness,
Stand against all fate.

Hearken all who seek,
Peace amidst the tears,
And never forget,
Christ’s love for you endures.
