Zoe's EEG went really well. She performed like the doctors
wanted her to. If there was a perfect time to have a seizure, durring an
EEG would be the time. And Zoe decided to actually cooperate. And boy did
she cooperate! They flash a strobe light in front of the kid's eyes when
they do the test, and that caused Zoe to have a seizure. They had to call
a doctor in to give her Diastat (a medication that stops seizures ASAP)
because it was a rather big seizure. They kept telling me that believe it
or not this is a very good thing because it means that they caught it and
are able to see where these seizures are coming from in the brain. So I
guess this is good news in a very odd sort of way. We go to the doctor on
Monday and will know the results of everything then.

((((((Kamie))))),

AAWWW!! I know you hate to see Zoe in a seizure. Me too :(

I hope this means that they can do something to stop the darn things.

Give you two little ones a BIG HUG from The Big Fuzzy Moose and some http://chocolate-moose.p5.org.uk/MINIS/corny10.gif http://chocolate-moose.p5.org.uk/MINIS/corny10.gif!!

Hugs, love.

Well now a week apart both our kids had seizures during the EEG. Kind of a mixed blessing isn't it??

I hope they can pinpoint it!

I am really going to beg for a VEEG on Monday. I will spend the week in the hospital if there is a chance we can get rid of these seizures for good.

That's so great they were able to see it (one of those bad things that are good).

Best of luck with the VEEG! Send hugs for Zoe! :)
