:( I spent part of the morning with a couple whose 28 year old son killed himself on the 12th. She was devastated and finally admited to the anger and her guilt over being so angry at someone she loved so dearly. "WHY she screamed? How could he do such a thing? How could her friends wish her a Happy Easter when she was on the floor?"

And her husband confining to me at the car door that he was in better shape then she was...I cautioned him not to kid himself..that they'd take turns holding each other up.

I promised to come back...I've ordered Iris Boltons book.."My Son, My Son" for her but she won't be able to read it for awhile...she can't concentrate she said.

When I got home Mr.Alffe asked me how it went and I said, they were us. ~sigh

When does the anger really go away? My anger continues to build and I believe it to be the only thing keeping me going. I completely loathe my husband for the most selfish act he could ever do.

I don't ever want to stop hating him cause I never want to mourn him.

I'm sure today brought back a flood of memories for you Alffe and I am very sorry about that. And I am very sorry for that family too.

Thank you all...I admit that this was hard..the similarities astounded me..maybe all suicides are similiar. But this father, like Mr.Alffe at the time, wondered if someone had killed their son and it wasn't really a suicide at all.
I could hardly believe I was hearing him say that. :(
