Michael came to me the other day and said that he had heard on TV that if he eats pizza he won't have seizures. I couldn't figure out what he was talking about.

I was just soaking in the tub with the TV on and there was this commercial for Grapevine Szuzuki. The owner calls himself the Nobody Guy. I still don't get that part. Well, he says, "My wife told me she can't sleep at night because she has little seizures." Then he smiles and says, "I told her to call the pizza pizza guy." Then they advertise the cars and then back to him where he says, "and they deliver." It took me awhile to figure out that they were referring back to the Little Caesar's commercial. I don't get it and feel it is in the poorest of taste.

What do y'all think?

I called the dealership. The person I talked to said that it was a funny commercial and it had brought in lots of business. I beg to differ. Here is the number if you would like to beg to differ with him. 817-903-3636.

I called the EFA and they are looking into it. I just might be placing a few phone calls to some well placed media people.

Wow, how tasteless is that?

I'm sorry but I highly doubt that commercial brought them business. I'd avoid calling in fear of having a random outburst. :D

why don't you post this in the social forum too?

is this just their commercial or one that many of the szukuki dealerships are using?

i emailed the owner of one of the local newspapers we advertise in. him and his family and staff work out at the club. a good heads up...;)

If we would all team up together I would get a lawyer and go after them for discrimination. I'm licensed with the FCC and I can't believe that they would allow a rotten comerical like that. I'm going to speak to a friend whose a Supreme Court Judge and see what info. I can get. Here's wishing all of you well and May God Bless You!

Hi Everyone,

Called the above number, asked for the manager. I was given this (817) 410-7425 for Mr. Joe Freid. I did call. Left a message on Mr. Freids voice mail, stating the commercial showed absolutely no compassion for the suffering of others and that the E.F.A. has been notified as to the manner his business conducts itself.

I did mention that if he was not aware of what E.F.A. stood for I would explain......Epilepsy Foundation of America.

Don't be afraid to call. Afraid of seizures is one thing, but, afraid to call a "YUTZ" like that, I think not!

I am not one to call on things like this. This company deserved my call. I wonder what advertizing agency came up with this?

Wooooo Hooooooo See it pays to gripe.

Julie, I was forwarded your email regarding the Grapevine Suzuki commercial. I spoke with the Account Executive that handles Grapevine Suzuki and he told me that he has been instructed by the dealer to immediately discontinue running the commercial.

I appreciate your concern and feedback. Please let me know if I can be of any other assistance.
