Given the interesting results of a clinical trial of Inosine and urate formation in slowing down pd, has anyone in this community given it a whirl? At what dosage? With what results?

I read about the urate level slowing down the progression of PD. However, high urate level also may cause kidney stone and other problems.

Here's a synopsis, written for a patient in understandable language.

thanks Paula. Given the duration of some of those clinical trials (results released during the next blue moon) and the fact that I'm in the early stages, I think I'll do a little self-testing for a few months. And frankly, I'd rather have gout than pd. I'll keep the club posted. In the words of the fearless Reverett, squeak squeak.
