Just been going over my prayer list and thinking I haven't seen Southie for a while...so I'll bump her up a notch and hope to hear soon how she is doing...

Thanks for thinking of me. Had a hideous March,
don't even want to think about April, it's been a
roller coaster and I want someone stop it so I can
get off. Yes, all my Doctors know, but they want
me to 'hang in there'.

They know from historical records, past, and current,
the 'Big Ones' (major epileptic seizures) strikes between
Aug/Sept ---> Feb/Mar; but it seems that my epilepsies
are changing, and getting them during the day as well.

I used to be primarily nocturnal, whereas daytime were
a scarce thing. If there was such thing of feeling of
complete 'helplessness' ~ I know it now. Every day has
become more difficult, a struggle. Experiencing more 50/50
days or bad days; than good.

There are days I just want to smash all my AEDs and the
Folic Acid dump them down the toilet, for one can take
so much after decades where it all takes a toll upon
you. They already know its taken its toll upon my own
physical body, and its just dwindling downhill. I'm too tired
and weak to fight; however on a good day, my son and I
would hit up on our bicycles (I gave him my old 27 speed
Kronos which we restored together and I have my almost
1 year old Trek, same what Lance Armstrong has).

You can see my son and I on rare good day - May 3rd,
near the bottom end of the Epilepsy Foundation & Interna-
tional Epilepsy Foundation/Organzation & Neurological Resource
Page ....

ON THE ROAD AGAIN ....

That image you see is me, self-sufficient - the camera doesn't
lie, you are warned - the current photos of me will shock you.

SOUTHIE!!!

Sorry to hear you've been struggling. You've probably heard all the pep talks and platitudes you can handle without barfing, so I'll restrain myself. Just want you to know you're being prayed for up here in the Northeast Kingdom. May the Father give you strength to cling to His hand 'til the storm passes over. He is able to see you through.

My brain and my computer are both on dial-up right now, but I will look for the photo of you and your son once I get it pulled together. I should check out the website anyway, because I know precious little about epilepsy. Time for a little education.

God is good, even when times are bad. Blessings to you.
