i am totally lost too.

i didn't watch the show from the beginning. is it worth getting the dvd's for each season to catch up? i have found them at half price books and another used movie place. i thought it might make a for good summer watching. i'm not to sure now. will i ever get un-lost? :confused:

Yes it is definitely worth getting the DVD's. I love LOST and can't wait for it to come back. We have seasons 1 and 2 so far and it is fun to go back and see all that you missed the first time and where it fits into what is going on now...Sue

Oh and do we ever get "un-lost" ha ha

My wife and I are at polar opposites with this series. She thinks there was a lot of progress this season and while I believe I understand "more" than I did than last year, I still feel like for every 1 fact they reveal, they also ask 2 more questions without answers. Like one step forward, two steps back.

I guess I have no choice but to stick with it, but I still wonder if the last episode isn't going to be one of the characters waking up from a crazy dream! :)

Actually, more like the finale of "The Bob Newhart Show"..LOL..
I'm kind of hooked on "Lost", though I'm not sure why. It is a challenge, which is an improvement over most other shows.
Has anyone ever noticed, in the title shots, they show the island but the reflection in the ocean is a cityscape? Just curious..

I have not noticed the reflection in the water. Now I will have to go back and look. I really like the repeat shows with the running explanation at the bottom of the screen.

Helps to remind me of scenes and also where they tie into plots from the first, second and third season. Watching this show is almost like work LOL

Looking forward to the next season---actually I can hardly wait for the next season. Does anyone know if it will start in the fall or the beginning of next year like this season did?

for the first time (I had picked up minutes of some episodes here and there surfing)..

I could only stand 2.5 episodes...it is too intense for me. So I caved and went to bed and had two nightmares! :rolleyes:

But you know you can view these FREE at abc.com
They also give a short paragraph synopsis on the menu for them. It requires a download of some special player tho, and I chickened out. Just type in LOST in Google and click on the first pick.

It will be on Monday nights on SciFi in order, as far as I know.
I will watch next Monday...one episode a night is more my speed! LOL
I can handle strife much better that way!

I liked the two part pilot alot. But I can really do without all the conflict and bickering (it was too much like my last job for comfort! :p ) The photography and music and mood are very good. But the anxiety it arouses in me is considerable!
I am reminded of the very old movie...Flight of the Phoenix.
That was a classic in the same vein.

All those "secrets" like a soap! They sure do click into our voyeur mode! HEHEHEHEH
And already I see the good/bad, bad/good, good/good, bad/bad characterizations starting.
Just like most soaps.

I now watch Fringe...CSI and Flashpoint...

I don't have to worry about those since every show is a new one...if you miss a few shows of the nightsoaps...you're, yep...lost. lol:eek:

On SCI FI!!?? OMG, I wonder if that's where I saw the advertisement, I don't remember. I could have sworn there were going to be 4 hours of Lost and I was so excited, rerun or not. It it WAS on this last Monday I gonna have to cwy big cwocodile tears. :hissyfit:

Don't feel badly.... they showed that advertisement on many stations, not only on SciFi. It was my hubby who discovered it,
and told ME. A friend of his is very hooked on the show, and she thought I'd like it too and told him to tell me.

It was on last night, and I had to give up on the finale of The Closer (TNT) to watch Lost. I just couldn't handle 4 in a row.
I don't watch TV that much anyway!

I just saw an ad on cable...
EVERY MONDAY night will be 4 episodes! WOW...that is going to be hard to watch!

We rented all the episodes from BlockBuster. It wasn't a series we had ever watched. I think it helped watching it all from the beginning in ajust a few weeks. Now I can't wait!

Edited later to add: It is intense and it is confusing. I found it best to watch them all in a row too otherwise I found it very frustrating. I didn't bother with it when it first came on tv here but later I really got into it. Then it stopped and I've been waiting a long time to find out more.

I watched it all from the beginning. The Lost sites on the internet are amazing. People playing along with the series and all the clues and whatnot, trying to figure out all the hidden symbols and meanings.

And, it'll be on Jan 14 as well with recaps...

:mad: Well, grrrrrr. Yup, the basketball prempted everything but the last hour of Lost!!! I was so mad I called and left a message for the manager of the TV station, LOL!

Here I had myself all set up with cozy blanket and stuff (it's FREEZING here!) and voila! Basketball. :p

I don't think I saw Sawyer in the last hour, I'm not sure. I did however get my Sayid fix. :D

Okay, now I have to go and write a scathing email to the local ABC station, ROFL!

YEEHAW!!! What a night! The usual eye candy and action galore!

Though, my best friend had the nerve to call me in the middle of it and before I could even say hello she said, "Are these writers on acid?" ROFL! Well, it was a pretty trippy episode. I really had to concentrate to follow along.

I can't believe Hurley ran into the street to the cops! I wondered if he would remember what hunka hunka Sayid said to him...do the opposite of whatever Ben tells you to do. Which I'm not sure I get because the good doctor agreed with Ben they all needed to go back to the island. Maybe Ben had something else in mind for Hurley????

Whatever! It was great!

It was such a great 2 hours, I felt like I needed a cigarette afterwards. :D

WOW!!! I had to do a rewatch. Had to fill in things I didn't have time to ponder while watching lst time. Daniel gets more mysterious every episode. His calmness and smooth voice is almost sexy isn't it? I was really disappointed that Sawyer found a shirt to wear. AWWWW So many more questions, as usual. This looks to be an exciting season. The new question is "WHEN ARE WE". Cool

Well, I've been preoccupied so haven't had much to say! I brought one of my animals home from the hospital Wednesday so I was having a tough time watching Lost but I did.

Wow, that's an astute observation about Daniel and the young woman being his mother! Hmmm. Well the way things keep time shifting who knows!

I have so much fun looking at different lost sites.

For awhile there was a 'pretend' web site for the Oceanic Air service! It had some really interesting stuff on it. Around that time billboards went up in 7(?) cities. Each one represented one of the main characters on LOST. They were bulletin boards of the oceanic and gave clues to the web site. One of those billboards went up right here in my town! Kate is the one that is supposed to be from Iowa.

Sigh, what WILL we do when the last season airs next year. WHAAA!!!!!

Oh, here is that Oceanic Air web site. It used to pop up with a video advertisement for the airline with the airline stewardesses and such. Then the video was interrupted by some communication about the island. It was a hoot.

Here is info on those billboards that went up in different cities. People found different clues on them. Within a couple weeks of them going up, what was really weird was that one morning it looked like the billboard had been vandalized, but it was part of the advertising. They had painted the words, find 815 across the billboards.

Last night I was thinking as they stole that canoe thing from the beach and headed out into the sea...what if there is a flash? Won't the boat disappear? And there was a flash, but the boat stayed!! Hmmmm.

OMG wait!!! That light, remember the light shining into the sky? That's when Jack saw Kate delivering the baby. Hmmmm. The light. Much like that shining light (star) when Jesus was born? Maybe that's why the little boy is being sought after???????

In my opinion, this is just the best season so far! The writers just absolutely rocked. Howsumeber, not enough Sayid time for me last night. :D

At that 'sexy thing' Sayid youtube, I noticed a lot more clips on him. I listened to one interview he did where he was talking about the writers and the last 2 seasons and how they really wanted to get things going, more so than in the past. I think so far they are just doing great.

I can't believe next year is our last Lost Season! :( I'll have to start investing in the DVD series.

Apparently they have finally decided on the final outcome of the series which they didn't have in mind before.

Loved the moments with Daniel and the revelation there.

Ok, its Friday! I hope its safe to post. Wow again! What an episode! So many time switches. Glad Jin is safe with own people. Very weird that you don't see any of the other people left on the island. I really think Ben is the evil one. He's always been selfish. Now Lock is sorta following him in a way. How about the well clip and the rope sticking out of the ground!! I yelled right at the TV. WOW!! There is a cool website called Doc. Jensen's. Has lots of lost info on it. Check it out! Love this show and cant understand why people stop watching it!

WOW!! This and last weeks episodes were great with the new twists. My thoughts: John lock is some kind of phrophet? The Special, hes special, your special thing. The fact that Ben didnt let him kill himself. (u dont go to heaven if you kill yourself thing) He was resurrected on the island?:confused:Just an observation. Sawyer and Juliette are cute together arent they. Sawyers nicknames were so funny last nite with the Richard comment (guy with the eyeliner) LOL Ha! Great stuff! Oh yea, I forgot to comment on the statue at beginning of episode. WOW As we can see it is a female. Upon closer inspection it seems to have cat ears? What the.... Claire? Juliette? Danielle? Kate? I dont even think we really learned what happened to Claire. Danielle is still a mystery too. Do we really know how long shes been on the island? Before others? Before Dharma? Very cool twist dont ya think? They didnt give us any other clue as to when they were. Not one! Love this show!!:icon_eek:

kinda new to this side of the forum but i am HUGH lost fan. and i do think sawyer and julie make a great couple but now what with kate back what is that gonna do for the happy couple. they showed in the ending last week that they think (the others) that siad is a spy i hope that they stick up for me. lord i love this show even got DH to watch
it since it came on.

also a huge ER fan since that from the begging also so sad to see it go breaks my heart

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOst, but now that Sawyer, and the rest are in the past, dont they change the future? There are still so many questions left to answer. I am thrilled we are getting to the bottom of some of these mysteries.

I too love ER, and have watched every episode since it started. House is also a fav. I get ticked when they pull shows mid stream and leave you with no answers like Eli Stone, Joan of Arcadia, and Pushing Daisys. Just blink..gone.

I hope Kate picks a horse and sticks with it, and fesses up to claire about what she did with that baby.

Last episode was such a tear-jerker!

Not 100% sure but I don't think this was posted before. Anyone see the Fine Brothers "Lost" parodies? Some are funnier than others but they're worth watching! :D I want a Hurley doll!

I love this show, but it always brings up so many other questions!

So, they are two God type guys stuck on a desert island, and they are just playing with folks? The second guy is jumping into dead bodies to make others think they are alive? I love that they brought the body of John Lock to prove he is dead, and yet, there is this imposter walking around as John. Twisted stuff.

I was cheering for Juliett to set off the bomb! I cant believe she survived that fall.

Next season is the last season, so maybe we can start to really tie up these loose ends. How are we going to get Sun and Jin together? We just must!
