What about "want" ads?

Is this a forum where one could post something like "Does anybody out there sell handmade whatchacallits"?

I know this could be touchy, for example, I put out that question and someone responds "Yes, I do!" but for some reason I choose not to buy from that person. Maybe the item isn't exactly what I want, or too pricey. Could be awkward.

ANYWAY, it was just something I was thinking about. Every once in a while I think, "I wish I knew someone who....."

I sure see no problem with posting "looking for" threads here.
I think everyone in business realizes that just because you let someone know that you have a product or service available doesnt mean they are obliged to buy it from you:D so no worries there either
