Azilect with General Anesthetic

The package instructions say one is supposed to be off Azilect for two weeks before undergoing sugery with a general anesthetic.

Have any of you had a general anesthetic without going off Azilect? Problems or okay?

I have had 2 surgeries under general anesthetic and was not taken off the azilect for either. When I talked to the anesthesiologist before the surgeries, he said it was not necessary, and he had no patients who had encountered any side effects.

I had no problems with either surgery, but as we all know, each person with PD can (an usually does) react differently.
