i usually post at bipolar, only the odd post here. however, as have said the others... i have lurked here a lot. you guys post great stuff on neurology and you are also "en-lightening" ;) in other areas........hats off to ya :) !

Boy, it is good to have this site to visit on until the real Braintalk is repaired!! I have missed it and all of you so much! I hope others show up soon. Thanks to whoever put this together for us to use in the meantime! I have a request re the Chatroom. If it is poss and if it is ever in need of repair, could whoever the Chat powers that be are change it so that Flash is not required. One of the security downloads microsoft provided in updates blocks out ability to download Flash. Donno which it is. Just a request, but I am very grateful for this website! Glad to be back! Tattoo

in any event, here i am. thanks to happycat, who just sent me the link. i sent it on to toad, he may turn up soon. or not since it is i just realized the middle of the night there.

now about that flash. the instructions for turning off flash download were on the old forum. i had downloaded them but just bought a new computer and can't find anything. how do i get rid of flash?

personally, i am convinced that all my computer problems are caused by alligators, but somehow no one else agrees.

Nope, not talking about Trish. There was a really nice guy who posted here alot...had to wait forever for his surgery. Tristan aka Tris. He finally had it done, I think it was last year...although time is running together for me anymore. I am hoping he is still doing OK. The surgery question has been put in front of me again...so I would love to speak with him again.

Plus, he had this brilliant game of Cryptic Crosswords...never heard of it before he started posting some here...were some fun off topic threads.

Actually also been wondering about Headspin, Satman and a lot of others I haven't seen lately either.

the reason i was annied on the old forum is that i misspelled my email address when i first signed up as annie, couldn't get the password, and had to sign up again. this time i signed up as annie, and actually spelled my e mail address right.

this is a clone of braintalk put up by a very nice man for us to use while we wait for our old home to get fixed. there are many debates about the whole problem in forum feedback.

Glad to be back, even if it was a pain getting back on. Alot going on here. Passed the 2 1/2 year mark without a seizure a couple of weeks ago. Since we've been having a massive amount of work done on our house (new roof, new septic system, repainting inside, new bathroom), the stress from having workers around all of the time has been immense and I'm glad that I made it through without any trouble.

Congratulations on 2.5 years! That's wonderful news. Has much changed for you now that you're not seizing so much?

The biggest change came from dropping AEDs six years ago. Have had so much more success with vitamins and I feel so much better. The odd thing is that, the longer I go without any seizure trouble, the more worried I get about when it's going to happen again. Not deluding myself into thinking that I'll be seizure free forever.
