We've actually got steak for a change tonight. Serving that with some pasta in a creamy sauce, corn on the cob and greens......maybe baby beans or maybe peas. I was going to do some honeyed carrots but I really can't be bothered now! :(
We don't do dessert at our house Abbie but what about some preserved fruit (or canned) and some ice-cream? That's pretty easy.

Have you ever tried crumpet pizzas for your children Sarah?
Toast one side of a crumpet, spread the other with tomato paste, top with chopped ham, pineapple, or whatever your little heart desires. Top it all off with grated cheese and put under the grill until the cheese has melted.
Quick and easy to make, and most kids love them.
PS. They're also handy for a quick supper for the grown ups.
