our airconditioner is broke!!!

and its so hot... i'm going to my FIL's until we get it fixed... Rick says hes staying here... more power to him... its miserable here... 96 degrees inside.. no way am i staying here.. they air cond people say we need a new unit. sigh...... guess we'll borrow it..... we've gotta have it fixed by friday. thats when sis has her tonsils out.

This afternoon one thermo said 101 and another said 97. It's BAD. But tonight we had major storm with lots of much needed rain and dropping temp.

Its going to be over 100 here today so I'm off to the lake... thank goodness for lakes.

My house is on a mountain so in the morning I close everything off - by the time I get home, its cool and the mountain breezes are blowing down... its just lovely.

Thanks guys.... We're getting estimates on new units.... EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!
Its 84 in the house right now, but we've got an attic fan pulling in outside air which surprisingly enough isn't to bad. I'm still staying at my FILS apt again tonight. LOL... i can handle the head during the day, but at night!!!! thats another story. LOL I called mom and she said i could bring sis to her house in OKC after her surgery on Friday. There is no way i'm bringing her back here unless we get another AC unit. This one place said if we go with them they can install everything tomorrow. Of course Rick wants to wait until we get a couple more estimates...
I told him this is not the time to be bargain hunting...its more important to get it done A.S.A.P. a few dollars more isn't going to make that much difference. Most of the quotes have been about the same give or take a couple hundred...ANYWAY I have to go enroll scott in HS this afternoon... I cant believe hes going to be a senior in HS.... Time sure has gone by fast. I'm so very proud of my kids... ok....pray for rain.... they say theres a 30% chance tomorrow and a 40% chance on friday... that would be wonderful.
