i just want to say i admire you all greatly. whether fighting addiction or helping a loved one who is...neither is easy.
i stayed off drink and drugs for ten years then fell back when i had a breakdown. i didn't want to admit it at first coz i felt ashamed and pathetic but...thanx to wmd...i realized that was wrong. we can't get help for ourselves...or loved ones...if we don't let folks know there is a problem to begin with.
so, i just want you all to know how much i respect and admire you...whether fighting addiction yourself or helping a loved one fight it.
please know i believe in mutual support so will gladly be here for anyone who needs my support...i won't just post in here when i'm screwed up myself. :grouphug:
