I have your surgery on my calendar at work and not remembering exactly when it is but will find out tomorrow at work.

So, I will be saying a prayer or 2 for you dear lady each day. I'm hoping this surgery will do the trick and bring you the pain relief you deserve.

Oct. 6th is surgery day for Tamiloo.

She said she is actually getting encouraged about it helping this time.

I sure hope so. All pain sucks. Gotta keep this lady painfree so she can keep Mr. Tamiloo in check.

I feel so very tired today...can't seem to get going. Not sure whats going on...looking at the aftermath of Sunday freaks me out. I did hire a cleaning lady that is going to be good for me....wow...slide over my Olhipie...I'm moving in.....:(

Hey Tam~ As a fellow back pain sufferer, I so sympathize w/all that you go through. I am encouraged that you are able to have procedures to help. I keep crossing my fingers and praying that my bones will get stronger through my tx, so that "someday" they can help me.

I am sooooo keeping you in my prayers for a successful surgery and a "forever" break from your back pain...

OK everybody~~ keep reminding me as Tam's surgery date approaches; I seem to have major cog fog lately.

(((Ms. Loo))), not long now! Also, my grandson is having his tonsils/adenoids removed on Oct 9, only 3 days after your surgery.

Back pain SUCKS and if prayers help any, you should get through this with gold stars. :hug:

((((tamiloo))))...just want you to know I am thinking about you. I have had two back surgeries and can so relate. I want you to know that there are successful ones. There is so much out there about the bad ones and the unsuccessful ones. I am praying that yours will be good and bring you relief. Be sure and get a blessing :wink:

I just spoke with Craig and Tammy is still in surgery. He said she should be out in about an hour. I asked him to call me back and that if he forgets not to worry I will call him. I told him if she is awake to tell her we all love her and are thinking about her.

I'll update more when she's out of surgery.

I spoke to Craig and you wont believe this! He put the phone to Tammy and I got to speak to her! She said she just rolled in from recovery and let out a little giggle. That woman is something else. I told her we all loved her and to rest and focus on getting well. She said she couldn't get online last night. Something with her dial up.

She said to tell you all hi and thanks for thinking of her. :hug: I'll call her again tomorrow to check on her.

Oh, those drugs in the recovery room do wonders for pain!

I didn't get a chance to talk to Tammy or Craig. I called their cell and no one answered. I left a message for them to call me when they can and that we're continuing prayers for her speedy recovery.

I just talked to Tammy and she seemed in good spirits. She said she has some pain but not like what she was having before surgery. She believes the pain she is having now with tightness is related to the surgery itself. She's been up walking a little with a walker. They took her off the morphine and she's now back on Lortabs for pain.

She doesn't know when she'll go home yet and if they want her walking without the walker but someone will call me when she's home. Craig was there at the hospital as well as his parents.

There was only one problem she had and that's the nurse who was supposed to show up to care for Craig. She never showed up and that's the last thing Tammy needed. I think she found out after the surgery or she would have been worried about Craig. The head of the home health has been coming in and promised he will take care of Craig for her and not to worry. From what Tammy told me, the nurse has been let go for being a no show.

I told her she had three threads going and that made her smile and laugh. I am sure if any of you have her cell number she'd be happy to hear from you. Thanks for caring so much! :grouphug:

I talked to Tammy and she's home. I woke her up and felt bad but she said it was Ok because someone brought a cake over and it had her name on it. lol Craig is all cuddly with her since she's been home. I think he missed having her at home. She's taking pain meds and has to set the alarm to take them or she's in terrible pain. Hopefuly by next week she'll start to feel better and wont have to set her alarm.

She's going to try to get online when she's feeling better, maybe tomorrow.
