Just checking to see if anyone has been treated at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA? I have bilat. unruptured MCA annie's. 1st surgery No. 13th.. The wait is awful.

Mary,
The wait for surgery is hard. Remember it well. Are you having the aneurysms clipped? If you are I wanted to say that I thought the surgery would be much worse than it was. I woke up from surgery in little pain. I slept a lot and my mind was pretty foggy. I under-estimated recovery time. Brains are slow healers. Coiling is suppose to be less traumatic than clipping with faster healing. Hang in there......Sarah

I've had two aneurysms clipped. I agree w/ Sarah that the actual surgery's a breeze. Does take time to recuperate though and you'll likely have some interesting experiences along the way!
