This came up at the British Tinnitus Association 2008 Conference. There were speakers from all around the world-it was a very interesting though utterly exhausting outing.

A chap in Wales hosts therapy sessions based on this to try and combat the infuriation that comes with Tinnitus. He nicely said that "he can not stop the waves but he can teach you to surf!"

If anyone wants more info on this please PM me I'd be slow but happy to help!

Thanks for that Vini - after reading it - well............. it confirms kind of what I do know deep down - I don't have much of a hope. After hitting my head 2x in the space of 5 weeks back in 2001 and trying to work full time and being short staffed and doing the work of 3 people (too bad about the quality of what I was doing!) etc etc, then husband leaving me, house sold, best friend dying of cancer, brother having cancer surgery all within 6 months I guess I am lucky to be as I am now - groan!
