Prayers/Positive Thoughts For Our Gene, aka, "ponyboy", Please......

Hi, everyone.

It would really mean a lot to me, if, everyone could take a few minutes
to send out a few prayers/positive thoughts for our sweet friend, Gene.
If you've caught any of his posts, in the past couple of days, you know,
he's dealing with some medical issues.:( He's posted about it, already, so,
I figured, it was okay for me to post this. Anyway, for those of you lucky,
enough, to know Gene, as, I do, you know how very special he is.:)
He just DOESN'T deserve what's happening to him.:( Please, everyone, let's
be there for him, as, he's aways there for all of us.

Thanks for posting this, I haven't seen the post as of yet as to what Gene is going through now, So I want to say that I only hope that whatever it is that there will be a speedy and good outcome for him as he is always here for everyone else and so supportive and helpful.

Hi, friends! I'm back, here, up at the library, so, I really wanted to get
back to everyone, so, you wouldn't think, all of your prayers and good
wishes don't mean anything, 'cause, believe me, they do!:)
It's just so hard, where, I don't have the internet at home, right, now.:(
If any of you have done any recent searches on any of Gene's recent
posts, you know that things are still very "up in the air" for him,
in terms, of his medical issues. All of your continued prayers/positive

Thanks, everyone, for your prayers and concern. You folks have no idea how much this helps to lift my spirits, as well s Holly's.
We heard from the detective assigned to investigate the case, and we expect to learn more on Monday...

"Ponygirl," many sincere, loving THANKS for "being there" with a warm, receptive shoulder, as well as for your concern for Holly and my family; you're a real sweetheart.

May the peace of Christ be with all of you BrainTalkers! I love ALL of you folks... you've always "been there" when tough times clouded my sky... I still remember, quite vividly, the outpouring of concern (and the cards, gifts and posies) for Holly several years ago, when she had surgery for scoliosis.

As you know I just love to pray for others, if you read my post's very much. There is no other calling better than to Pray. I am just asking God to heal your body as I don't know what is wrong with your body. You know he made your body and is able to do what no mere man can do. He tell's us to call upon the name of the Lord and that we will be saved. He reminds us that He will never leave us nor forsake us.He is with you right now Gene. I too, have had a lot going on this summer, with my husband having cancer and all the treatments, he still passed so quickly. This is the time you will find out who your real friends are. I do pray from the bottem of my heart, that things will be ok. you are a very nice person Gene. God has a plan for you
just as he has for me. Keep your eye's upon Jesus Gene.

Thanks for all your prayers and well-wishes, everyone... and Thanks to my dear friend "Ponygirl" (Phyllis) for instigating the prayers.
The situation wwith Holly is now being handled appropriately by the sheriff's department; we should know more this week.
As for me and my new set of thoraco-cervic difficulties, I'll see what the OrthoSurgeon has to say on Tuesday. I anticipate his suggestion of surgical intervention...

As, some of you may have guessed, by, now, yes, Gene & I have become
great "phone buds".;) For the most part, daily.:D {I KNOW, I'm gonna get

Anyhow, I can tell you, honestly, what you get from Gene, here, on the
forums, is nothing, compared, to what he's like when you REALLY get to

For those who aren't familiar with the situation, our daughter Holly is a mentally challenged young lady of 19 years; a couple of months ago she was sexually molested in our yard, and the sheriff's police have been reluctant to act on arresting the perp, even after he was identified and admitted to his actions. Consequently, I'm angrily pursuing "other options." :mad: Regardless of the sheriff's detective's statements, the case is far from closed.
Concurrently, my cervical spine problems have decided to play rough lately; I've had to don a soft collar for my daily hour commute each way to and from school; my OrthoSurgeon has been trying to get his scalpel into my neck for a multi-level fusion to match the one fourteen levels south in my lumbar area. Given my age and less-than-satisfactory previous surgical experience, I've begun to question whether it's really worth the ordeal...
Phyllis (Ponygirl) has been a genuine friend and has offered me much welcome support through this ordeal. Thanks, Phyllis!

thanks for updating us tho I sure am sorry your family is still having to endure the emotional stress of all this, and that you are also dealing with extra physical burdens!

when I pray for you, I seem to always think of Romans8:28 and so, tho I am sure you know it well, here it is again, from the Amplified Bible

We are assured and know that -God being a partner in their labor- all things work together -and are fitting into a plan- for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose.

I pray that the Lord will encourage and strengthen you Gene, and that you will be continuously reassured of His love for you and your family. We dont always fully understand when our journey with Him leads us on the path through suffering, but, from my own and countless testimonies through the ages, we know that He does work that good that He has promised even in the bad times.

May God bless you and your family Gene, and may there soon be a time of peace and refreshing for all of you after this ordeal.

It is hard to forgive and forget when someone does something so low, and I do agree that there is a need to ensure that this is not done to another inncocent victim. It will be really good when this whole thing is settled, as this really cant be good for Gene's health either, and must be putting so much strain on all of their emotions.

assaulted our sweet Holly.:(:( I spoke with Gene on Friday and I was told that the meeting that they had didn't go well, at, all.:( I mean, they KNOW, this SCUM has done the same thing to other people.:mad:

I am hoping that, even though they may not feel that justice is being done in this situation, yet that they will also try to move on from it.
There comes a point where we have to let go or it just drags us down.
I have learned in my own life that sometimes I just have to leave things in God's hands when I cant find solutions for them myself
