This is so good! If you like pumpkin pie you will love this one!!
1 can "one Pie" pumpin
1 can Evap milk
3/4 sugar
1 tsp cinn
1 tsp nutmeg
Mix these together and pour into 9x13 pan.
sprinkle one box white cake mix - DRY over the top of the batter
drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter over top of dry cake mix.
top with slived almonds or any nut of choice. (I didn't use any for I don't care for nuts)
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 mins.

sounds delish and easy. Im gonna try this. Im curious as how it will
hold together without eggs. I will let you know how it turns out.

I have to admit it was delish!! :D warm was really good. It seems like a pumpkin pie with a crisp topping. :)

I am not sure but "One Pie" may be a Maine thang. You can use any canned pumpkin from any maker, just to clarify.
(One Pie is made and canned and distributed from Maine) :D
This sounds delish! I wonder if I can bake it in a dutch oven on a wood stove? Still powerless here!:(

we make a "dump cake" with canned fruit, that is like that. just dump it all in there. :p

The dump cake is delicious. Haven't had one in a while. I want to try this pumpkin crisp. It sounds awesome.

It was a hit here over the weekend - my DD who loves pumpkin pie said this was a here new fav.
My mom makes a strawberry rubbarb dump cake that is made just like this. That is really good too!
So easy! And warm it up in the microwave - yum yum!

this was good Char. We had it on Sunday when we were making pierogi
for xmas eve. We needed something easylol. one pie pumpkin and squash
are a western mass thing too.lol

YOu know it did not hold together like pie. Kinda like the difference between
apple pie and apple crisp. it was more like crisp.:confused: I hope this
makes sense.lol

So, if you were to make it again would you use egg with it? I think I am going to try it both ways. lol Pie like and crisp like. :D

nope....dont think I would. I would try it without first, cuz if you like it..
then thats it!!! Enjoy!!!
