Any one know anything about this?
I couldn't post a link so I had to trick it to allow me,
Let me know I am curious if any one has ever investigated this as a possible surgical option?

I think it's a great deal! Robots are much more accurate than humans. I've read posts from a couple of folks who've had the robot surgery, and they were pleased.
As for myself, I had a video assisted thorascopic thymectomy in 2000 (pre-robot thymectomy.) It sure was an easy surgery. I've had paper cuts that were more painful than my thymectomy! LOL

I really wanted that, but whatever reason they wouldn't let me.....It is supposed to be much better than having a human doing the surgery........

Question...Do they remove your thymus if it is not enlarged? Can this help if it is not enlarged? At this point, I am willing to do anything for this to go away...but as I have read...it never really goes away...

There were absolutely no abnormalities with my thymus, if anything it was small, yet they still removed it.
At the time, I was desperate to regain my former life and was told it was my chance to do so............Question...Do they remove your thymus if it is not enlarged? Erin,
Did your surgery help your condition? I am also in S.A. and am trying to find a surgery who uses robotics.
Thanks!
