the computer game of tetris.
I was listening to talk radio, The Tom Hartman Show.
Medically speaking, the game of tetris is supposedly helpful with PTSD. It has something to do with the movements of the eye.
Playing a computer game certainly cannot hurt.:) I used to play that game a lot, loved it.

I love Tretris. That and Ms PacMan. :D
Tretris is good for the kids to play too. (when I give them a turn :p)
Otherwise I'm a watcher, not a player.

I used to play Tetris on my kids Gameboy. They'd come home from school and the battery would be almost dead!! I'd say "well, you must have left it on last night....better turn the thing off when you're done." :o :o That was years ago and I haven't played it in a long time.
Now, the game I'm addicted to is Bejeweled. It's very similar to Tetris in that you have to match up colored jewels into rows of three. I think it helps with my cognitive abilities....but I'll probably wind up with carpal tunnel in my wrist!!

Kitty, we still have the old Super Nintendo. Works like a charm.
I did get one of the Tetris games that plugs rght into the TV.
Anything that works the brain is great!

a fan of both Thom Hartmann, and Tetris here.
I find computer games helpful for improving my cognition, and spelling.
my favorite word game is TextTwist.
Kell, to avoid CPS, adjust your chair height, or your keyboard angle (via the pull-out keyboard tray if you have one), until you find what works so that your arms are relaxed and supported.
I use a desk chair with WIDE arms, and rest my elbows on them when I play, only lifting my arm occasionally, to use the mouse.
with the desk I have, to end up with no stress on my arms and wrists, I had to elevate my chair to the MAX height, and then add a small footstool underneath, or my feet would dangle over thin air, lol!
ahhh, the joys of being under 5' 2".
:D
