My dad...

My dad has been in the hospital since the night before thanksgiving.
He wasn't feeling good all day that day.Diarehha and feeling sick,he also said his tummy felt hard.So by 11pm he said his tummy was about to kill him.I finally told him i was gonna make a call to nurse on call hotline.They said to bring him in right away!!
So me and mom took him in.He had a high fever ,he was dehydrated and had very low blood pressure77/54.Also they had to put him on oxygen.
Eventually they took a catskan and found out he has a blockage in his intestine and an enlarged prostate.So they put a tube in his nose.
Then they admitted him.Now he has a cath in and is passing nothing but blood!!
We are still waiting to see if the blockage is just gonna clear up on it's own or what..THey say sometimes they do-but his tube keeps draing that yucky stuff out..So thats not a good sign!!Then theres the blood in the cath bag..Thats REALLY WORRYING ME!!!!
He cant see very well{macular degeneration} and wont be able to eat/drink for a few more days.
He is just laying there in misery!!!
For those of you that believe in prayer..Please keep our family in yours over the next few days...
I am staying with my mom so i dont know when i'll be able to get back on here-but i will check back in as soon as i can..

So sorry it took me so long to check back in.I just got back home late last night.
Thank you all so much for the prayers and all of your kind words and concern.
It means soo much to me!
My dad was able to come home yesterday.Thankfully the blockage is gone.The doctors said-sometimes the bowel just needs a rest and the bloackage will pass.I am so glad it worked for my dad!!
He had every test possible.Endoscopy.colonoscopy,catscan ,xray..and now it's gone!!
We were worried there for a while....I really do believe in prayer!!!
We found out 2 days ago the reason he had blood in his urine was because he went off of his blood thinners abruptly.The doctor said thats not uncommon either!
Since he has an enlarged prostate that had us VERY worried as well!
Hopefully we can get him back to get that taken care of now.
He was taking meds for that a few yrs ago-then just stopped.He is such a stubborn man!!!
I am soo glad to be back home .I need to go for my MRI this morning ,then i have a bit of cleaning to do around here.After that i am gonna sit and do NOTHING for the rest of the day...LOL
It was so touching to see all of these messages ..Thank you all once again.
