It's not only cold, but the wind is really strong today. If you want to learn how to put big pic's on, go to computer tech and Curious will lead you threw the steps. If I can do it anybody can. I copied it off first then had no problem as I did the last one. Thanks so much Curious. I owe you big time.;)

I have now been away from snow and very cold weather for 4 years! So, when it hits 22 here, I am freezing to death. But if the sun shines bright during the day, it warms us all up and our homes are nice and warm as well. We get dark so early - yesterday it was really dark by 4:30.
How is everyone doing on their shopping? I do a LOT of mine online since it is hard for me to do the whole shopping trip thing. I find the sites that have good deals, especially free shipping. This year, the new Google checkout gives $10-$30 off if you checkout with them. If the site is connected to Google checkout, it will show it on their home page.
I am feeling somewhat better today.
Have a great day all!

Good morning kids~
It's good to see pics from you BC instead of links! Wow, it sure is easy with screenshots! Wish I could do that!
I'll post some of the pics of you so you can upload them to your album at Photobucket--them you can post them anytime you want to!
Not doing much here today, having a lazy day. You guys will be SO PROUD of me! (I think) Although I'm not sure it's really koshier.... I sent a lot of the box of candy home with my dinner date last night. No, he didn't send it. :o Oh geeze Louise, I only sent the ones that I liked so that I wouldn't eat them--so it was half the box..... Am I naughty?
The "D"'s going pretty good besides the dang "Box of Candy"! ggrrrrrrr How's everyone else doing? If ya slide a little, get back in the saddle! Take care!
Hugs,
LS

Billie, you did it.
Nancy, I haven't gotten the 1st lick of shopping done.
Jan, I'm having a lazy day also.
Bizi, I admire you always going to the gym.
I think I have everyone. I'm fine today. I made the arrangements to move on the 28 of this month. I had canceled this Monday's move this past Monday because I wasn't sure my husband would sign the papers.

Will you be there by yourself Christmas? Well I guess that is a dumb question for me to ask. I already know the answer. I wish that you weren't alone. I'll be in and out, if you want to talk. Even Christmas Day for you! I don't have much to do anyway.
I wish you well Befuddled2.
Hugs,

Ok so I have to confess...
when I left the house in my gym clothes going to the gym which is usually at a cooler temperature...I was freezing in the car and I have a mild condition called raynauds...it's a circulation thing...my fingers turn white...anyway...I was already there with my fingers flaring up...I know this seems like a really little thing but it takes for ever for me to warm up after this happens...
anyway
so I was driving and as I was just passing a mcdonalds the car turned into the restaurant.
it was like on auto pilot.
that easy to just blow off the gym and go eat a yummy breakfast.
so I never made it to the gym....
then we went to a guitar recital tonight..one of hubbys students...he did well...His folks threw him a reception afterward and they had the best food!
Gumbo and brownies and crawfish pie and etc.
Now this is dinner right!
WE already had had a full dinner at 6pm and then we eat again at 9...I really did not need to eat...oh I am such a bad influence around here....
sorry guys I will try to do better.

hey bizi...
i know this doesn't help with breakfast at mcdonalds, but they have started doing grilled chicken in their snack wraps. just under a buck 50 here in texas. i got one without mayo for lots less calories. filled me up.
have you thought of getting the yogurt and fruit?
if i were you bizi...i'd have to move. :p texas has some GOOD food...but honey...you have the corner on D-lish!!
we have a new place that opened up in dallas. the owners had a jazz resturant that they lost cuz of katrina. it is a replica of what they had in new orleans. i have to eat a salad at home to partly fill up beofre i go. or i would eat for hours!!
(((((((bizi)))))))))
thanks curious...
have agreat weekend!

Hi Billie, I plan on giving gifts to 4 nursing home residents on Christmas Day who do not have anybody. I will be with them for at least a couple of hours weather permitting. I will still love to chat with you on here though.
Bizi, it seems like you and I both were tempted. I went grocery shopping today and right after you walk in the front door was a bunch of Christmas toys, decorations, and chocolate! Well, the chocolate was on sale so I got some.

I have had an awful 2 days. Both furnaces went out on the home place durning the bitter cold weather. I have been out there this morning with the repair man. It took three hours, mostly fixing the shop one and I smell like smoke flue pipes. You can just imagine! I think it is in my nose now. the weather is beautiful but chilly. I hope and pray things are fixed again. One more month out there and it will be someone elses headache. I worry to much. If it can go wrong, it does.
I want to go shopping, but I only know one thing to buy, so I may stay home. I don't like to drive after dark to well.
It sounds like everyone is well today. I was suppose to work at this Christian place this morning. I got one hour in before the other shift came. Think I'll just sit back, put some Christmas music in and enjoy this day and be thankful its warmed up some.
God Bless,
Billie:)

Hi guys~
Just letting ya know I'm alive! My internet was down most of the morning, so I was busy baking cookies.
I made the peanut blossoms (over 100 in the freezer) and then did spritz like a dork. I thought--as long as the kitchen was messed up.... why do we do that?? Of course it was too much for one day, and on top of it the dough was too soft, so instead of green Christmas trees I now have Christmas frogs with a cinnamon red hot thinggy for an eye, that's supposed to be a tree topper thinggy...  You'd LOVE this GC!!
Nope, not making them over. Maybe start a new tradition. Christmas frog
cookies.
Anyhoo--that's what's been happening here. Hailey's coming to spend the night with gramma. Laura has a date. OMG you guys---I hafta tell you what I did...... I didn't mean to---it was a misunderstanding!!! Hailey called me yesterday and said Santa was bringing her a baby. I said no honey, Santa doesn't bring puppies, kitties, or babies. (She had been going through this thing a couple of weeks ago about wanting a baby sister.....NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY---did I say no way? Laura is not married.....) Anyway, Hailey started crying and Laura came on the phone and asked what I said to her, and I told her. She then told me that they had just gone through the paper and found a baby DOLL that Hailey was gonna ask Santa for......dammit......well----no one told me THAT!!!!!!! I straightened it out, but here I told my 3 year old grandaughter that Santa wouldn't bring her a baby, and made her cry---did I feel BAD!! Quit laughing--I hear you!!
OH well..... gotta toddle along. Hope everyone is having a good day, and if you're baking cookies, I hope they don't turn out looking like frogs or turtles or something green...unless you're GC, then you'd like that.
I'm gonna go now....:o
Hugs,
LS

Hi everyone, just a lazy day watching movies on this end. I am not snacking on bad stuff though so don't even go there :p
Jan, I am going to call you the "GRINCH" from now on. Making your g-baby cry like that. Now you will get coal in your stocking :D
Billy becareful about overdoing it now. I think your idea of relaxing with some Christmas music is a great idea...I will join you in that.
To the rest of the gang--stay warm and away from the cookies, pies, candy and eat a carrot and use alot of imagination ha ha...Sue
