I'm from another room (epilepsy) but as I was looking for something I saw this & thought I would put it here

what if you woke up one day
and tried to help save your family money
but ended up costing them instead

what if you woke up one day
and tried to talk
but everyone misunderstood

what if you woke up one day
and every task you tried to do
you couldnt concentrate long enough to finish

what if you woke up one day
and tried to drive
but couldnt remember where you wanted to go

what if you woke up one day
and wanted to talk
but couldnt remember what you wanted to say

what if you woke up one day
and all this happened to you
but no one could tell

this is what its like for me
when I wake up each day

my name is Laura hanson and I have Early Onset Alz Dz

Laura, my heart goes out to you. My older sister had Early Onset Alzheimer's and was dx at 45. Our mother also had it but her dx wasn't until her 70's.

I know what a cruel disease this is. I hope that early intervention and new medicines can help slow yours down or even halt the progression.

You're in my prayers, Laura. Please keep coming here to post and read. I have MS so I'm usually on that forum most of the time. Take care and don't hesitate to ask any of us here if you have any questions. :)
