I had an "attack" about 6 months ago at age 49, where the left side of my tongue, lips, face and left arm experienced intense pins and needles for about 15 seconds. This happened 3 times in about 30 minutes. No headache or any other kind of pain. Was admitted to the hospital overnight, had MRI, CAT scan etc. all came back negative for stroke. Was diagnosed with a "TIA". I've been put on Coumadin indefinitely. For the last 6 months on and off I have had a mild tingling in my tooth nerves, and tongue on the left side. Also have a strange feeling in my jaw and facial muscles periodically. None of these sensations are associated with any movement or functionality loss. After the attack I also noted more "floaters" in my eyes/vision. Any recommendations? I'm heading back to see a neurologist as soon as I can get in.

I have had the symptoms you have mentioned , when I have my MG crisis, the eye doctor thought I was having a stroke. Then It continued on to full body weaknes. Turns out it was my MG.

Mary,
Thanks. I just saw the neurologist and they are categorizing my episode as a "mini stroke", and the sensations i've been feeling are residual damage. It is getting better, and they saythat should continue, need to go back in if it gets worse.
