I just PM'd you to see how you were. I'm sorry that you are in so much pain.

I just had to pop some Methadone for my pelvic pain and my depression has been bad but that's just life for me. I can't think straight when my pain level is up either.

Hope you start feeling better soon.

Hey Carrie,

Sorry to hear you had a flair from the injection. I hope you start feelig better very soon.
It's O.K. to lay low and relax when you need to. I know it's easier said than done when you have kids. Take care of you!

Carrie,

Dear Girl!
You're gonna have to let us know, "overall" did the thing help or not, and exactly what was it? :confused:

(Were they making you a "Test Dumbie")?:eek:

You of course, need to give it some time, I reckon... :wink:

Here for you always...:hug::grouphug::hug:

Dear Carrie -

I guessing your pain doctor put you on Nortriptyline (a tricyclic antidepressant) as part of your pain control regime. And yes, tachycardia is listed as a known side effect of the drug. So I can't imagine that someone put you on it if you already had an irregular heartbeat, but apparently he/she did!

I once spent the night in a monitored cardiac be with drug (Ritalin) induced tachycardia, but my heartbeat was just fluctuating at rest between 85 and 115 BPM. I can't imagine how scarry it was being in the "200's steady."

I trust it's down now, but I wonder how well your heart rate and BP were routinely monitored along the way? I know in my case, it was not at all.

hang in there,
Mike

not PM a neuro that i went to see for the cluster headaches my issues is that i cant take regular migrain meds ie triptans becuase i stop breathing. but my normal with meds is 120-140 and i cant tell or it doesnt effect me because its been like this for the last 11 yrs and i have grown a custom to it. so over 160+ is when i get light headed and cant breath right and its low motion. because of my rsd and the way it has effected me i dont ever pass out period .!!!!! i have been awake at 210 HR and 20/0 BP no lie. i just dont pass out period with the way my sympathetic system has been effect and autonomic .. its crazy and i wish that i would be out like a rock when this happens but im not that lucky. i should be called murphy because what can and will happen will always happen to me period.
