Hi, again, pbrown. I don't know if this will help, but, I took myself off of morphine treatment for pain. I stopped cold turkey, which was stupid. These were perscribed meds for me. I ended up in the hospital for de-tox to be weaned properly off of the morphine. They gave me a med called Clonidine. It is very effective for de-tox. Maybe it would help you too. I think an AD may help you as well. Some docs use Suboxone to help addicts off of addictive substances as well. Good luck.....:)

Pot messes up your dopamine receptors.I'm trying tyrosine, its a amino acid i got from the health food store.Today was the first time i took it and it made a difference already.I would do some research on it before you take it but I think it's worth checking out.I'm take it because of opiate addiction which does much more damage then weed but pretty much close to the same(it's all about the dopamine). Please do not take benzos they will help you short term but they are much harder to quit then pot if you take them for any time period.a couple of weeks on Claudine or "Clonidine"and you'll wish you were coming off pot.Good luck Bro

Possibly Lobelia at some health food stores. What are your withdrawal symptoms that you are hoping to treat?
