Is anyone else here in perimenopause? What do you use to deal with hot flashes? I refuse HRT (for reasons listed in this article) so I've been trying to deal with my symptoms through natural medicine. I get regular acupuncture, take herbs, and use one a ChiliPad to cool my bed at night. I've also gone on an all organic whole food diet - and eliminated sugar, caffeine, alcohol, and refined flour. So far I think I have it managed, but I'm not 100% yet. Just wondering what else people are doing as I'm always looking for suggestions.

Hello Godzilla and Welcome to NeuroTalk :)

I am peri-menopause. I would highly recommend a book by Ann Louise Gettleman - Before the Change.
